Fall Fun

Not sure where to start really. I need to get back into blogging. I just haven't been feeling it lately w/ being so bogged down w/ school and all that goes with that. Seems like every night we are running somewhere w/ the kids. They started Fall soccer last month, and this weekend will be their 3rd game. Can't wait to actually see them play. I work every other, so have missed the other 2. They are doing really great in soccer and having a lot of fun:). Even Miles is hanging tough, which surprised me a little. I guess he got kicked in the face w/ a ball a coupla times the first game, so he had to man up and go back in and play after he had a good cry:) So funny.

Boys before their first night of practice:)

This pic cracks me up...Looks like Miles' socks go right up into his shorts. He's such a midget:)

Miles crying after he got a ball to the face. Hhaa. I'm not sure why pics of crying children crack me up so.

During the game. They play 3 on 3 in their league. It's great for getting some real playing time. Evan's getting so good, prob'ly bc he's growing into his head finally.

They are all so into it. So cute.
We also made a trip to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago w/ Mom and Dad one Sunday afternoon. There's a lil patch the next town over. A family from the church we take the boys to Awana own it. The pumpkins were pretty rough this year due to the high amounts of rain, but we did find 2 still on the vine so we each got one. There was a little corn maze and a wagon/tractor ride too, so it was a fun little outing. We hit up Burt's in GA when we went a couple weeks ago, but they were so low on pumpkins since we went the day before Halloween.

Me and the boys at one of the photo ops @ The Pickin' Patch.

Typical pics of G'ma and Papa w/ the boys...both their eyes are closed and ridiculous faces. hhaa. I blew these up and got some 5x7's free on Shutterfly.

It was easier to just get them to flex.

Playing on Hay Mountain

Oh to be a kid again:)

My fave pic of the day!

Ta Da!

Mom w/ her punkin

Okay, maybe this is my fave:)
In October, I also hit up the Scarecrow Fest w/ the boys in Crystal River. It was mainly just a money pit, w/ lots of games and shopping and everything cost $, but was really fun for the kids. Randall was fishing w/ the guys from work I think, so we met up w/ Ash and her kids and just hung out and blew some $.

Scarecrow bowling at the Scarecrow Fest

M's favorite part. He wanted to ride the smallest pony:)

Kids love this game. Pump up the balloon til it pops. Genius!

Made a final stop across the street at "Just a Cupcake"

Paid almost 4 bucks for him just to eat the icing. Yep.

Took the kids across the street to the wooden playground to play. This is Ash's lil man Ashton. He got some seriously cool face paint at the fest.

Me and Ash chillin' at the playground.
That same night my friend Tina threw a really cute Halloween party for her son and his friends. I took both boys dressed up in just a thrown together costume. I had a wicked bad migraine and felt like crud for most the night, but the kids sure had a blast playing games and eating lots of sweets. Here's some pics from that. She is so creative on all her parties.
Miles the cowboy and Dr. Tobin, ready to partay.

Buddies. I loved Ryan's Puss in Boots costume. Classic!

Deep in thought

The kids loved the photo op. So funny.

Musical chairs.

All the small fry party goers.

Dangling Donut game:)
Well, Guess I'll hafta post a Fall Fun 2 later. It's been a busy month. Today was the last day of co-op until February I think. It was an awesome 3 months we had. Evan loved every minute of his classes and made some amazing artwork. I think he has some real talent. I need to take pics and make a shutterfly book of all his artwork from the year or something. After classes today, several of the classes put on performances and talked about what they learned, sang songs and did presentations. I was so proud of all of our kids. I had such a blast helping out in American Girls and teaching the one week. It was nice to be in such a chill class of only 2 lil girls, and just have fun w/ the girls for an hr each week. It was so funny to see how differently girls act than boys.

Til later.....
