Opening Day of Scallop Season

July 1st was opening day of scallop season in Florida and I got to go this year on the 1st day! woot! We met up w/ Suzanne and Mike and their kids, and Suz's sis and her fam. We rode w/ Suz and Mike in their boat. We got out w/ all the other boats at low tide, so the water was only like 3 and 1/2-4 feet deep, which was ideal!! We found so many more than last year, but still not the motherload like previous years, but we had the kids w/ us, so it was an added distraction. For the most part the boys swam around w/ Randall and held onto him while he scalloped, or rode around on the boogie board while he pulled them. Needless to say, I got way more scallops than R did;)  We ended up w/ around 3 gallons or so. Didn't take us long to clean them, and I think we'll get 2 good meals outta them:) All that work for 2 meals--ha. It's so fun out there snorkeling. Can't wait to go again!

The boys out swimming up a storm.

Randall and Mike chillin'.

I love this pic:) Miles is such a fish. Has been since day 1.
