So today was the 2nd day Jabe and the boys were here. We went to Fort Mtn yesterday and swam and swam in the little beach area and took a ton of pics throwing the boys crazy high in the air. i'll post some later.
Today we took the boat out on Carter's Lake and dropped everyone off at the beach area there. Much bigger beach area w/ deeper water and lots of rocks to step on, but really fun. Vinny wanted to ride around in the boat, so me, Randall, M and him went for a nice long drive. i think he really enjoyed it and the one on one attn. Went back and swam for 2-3 hrs and then R took JB's boys out for a fun, crazy ride around the lake w/ alot of circles and bouncing:) not sure Vinn was real up on that. asked him what his favorite part about the ride was and he said "the calm parts". hhaa. he is def the least daring of the 3 boys.
Jabe decided to leave around 3:45 today, even though he'd called into work. not sure why dinner wasn't doable. i'd put in about 7 ckn breasts of bbq pulled ckn, which is like the best thing ever, so his loss. i said to him, why don't you go ahead and stay? what's another hour? but he was determined to get home at 8 pm? so yeah. we saw them from 7pm on Mond to 3:45 today. I'm grateful he had the days off and we got to see them, but also sad bc we may not even see them for another year or so. they aren't coming to FL for T'giving or Christmas. so yeah. it was crazy, even in the 8 months since we saw them last, how all his boys have grown so much. the twins are less than a head shorter than I now, and Vinny's face looked completely different! they are so handsome!! the twins have super long torso's and legs, but Vinn's still built alot like JB. so, short-lived but really fun. glad we got to see them.
Well, off to shower and shred the chicken so we can eat and run. Mom said she'd watch the boys so we could go to a movie and get out. will be nice to have a break w/ no boys talking:)) i need a break!
