Last night i got ready and drove to Mom's house w/ the boys. Got there right before 6, got them situated and then drove over to Audra's house to meet up w/ the girls. Holly and i have been wanting to get together, but between her homeschooling, work, etc schedule, it's almost next to impossible, esp during the school year. So we planned it--her mainly--and they invited Jodi and this nice lady named Debbie, all who homeschool...well, not Audra, but Holly homeschools her (audra's) daughter as well. We all drove out together to The Villages, aka Wrinkle Ranch, and went to this Japanese steakhouse. really good food, and then over to watch the fogies get their groove thing on over at the square where this very off-key band was playing/singing:) really funny bc these young 20-something guys were gettin' all up on these grannies. Dear gosh, i was hoping it was their g'sons, but then again?? it was so funny. Never played anything remotely close to what makes my inner dance self come out, so we just sat and made fun of ppl and cracked up. Had some great convo's, mostly about kids and relationships, why FB is good/sucks etc. So that was really interesting. Wish we coulda stayed longer and ran our mouths more, but 2 had to get up at like 5:30 to go to work so we called it early around 10pm. Ran to wally for some pullups and then watched like 3 episodes of that wedding show where the guy takes over as the wedding planner and makes the girls pretty much get all new dresses and decor and plans the most over the top gorgeous wedding ever for them. Couldn't believe mom stayed up w/ me til 1am!! guess her and dad stayed up playing w/ the boys til 10pm!! so that was cool. stayed the night and left there around 1:30ish today. so nice to be away. felt like a mini-vaca.
