We had an awesome Easter this year. I really tried to focus our Bible time on the story of Jesus dying, his burial and resurrection. The kids were really interested this year. We made the resurrection garden we saw on FB on Friday after Bible and the boys had a really good time helping with that. Pouring in the dirt, adding rocks and grass seed, and collecting the sticks for the crosses. Took me 5 yrs to make each cross....but I thought it turned out really awesome. We watered it and took inside to set in the sun and E drew a lovely pic of Jesus and we put him in the tomb and rolled a big stone in front. When they got up this morning I had them go look at Jesus' tomb and low and behold, the stone was rolled back and Jesus was gone. Evan's face was priceless. I really think they understood it quite a bit this year.

| The boys w/ their Resurrection Garden |
I went to church early to work in E's class. Randall and the boys met me after, bc I wanted to attend svc. The boys went to SS the 2nd service. The kids were so cute today. I read them the Easter story and we sang songs. I asked them what Easter was really all about and only 1 little girl knew the answer. Amazing...

| Easter egg hunt time in the backyard:) |
We went home after church and waited for Mom and Dad to come over. They got there around 2ish and we got to stuffing eggs and me, R and Mom went out and hid them all in the back yard. The boys did really good on the hunt and found them all way quicker than I thought. It was so cute. We kept giving them clues to find them....E was onto us and would race across the yard looking for the eggs after the clues. ha. The boys ate about 20 million jellybeans and other candy, so we thought that would be the perfect time to give them their Easter baskets filled w/ even more junkfood and little presents. They loved everything.
