Sooo, Mom finally came over today. We were planning on hitting up the zoo today, but w/ $ being tight, and etc, just decided to stay home. Ended up narrowing my grocery list down to just 1 week's worth of meals and the essentials i couldn't do w/out: eggs, bread etc. and Mom went w/ me to the store w/ the boys. They did really good, considering we were there for like 2 hrs!! We went to Mickey D's before, so i put M in a diaper, not wanting to try to do that and Wally...AND, he went potty twice in the bathrooms and had ZERO accidents!!! woot! was so proud of him! Last night when i was at the movies he gave in and pooped on the potty for Randall. 2 outta 3 times he's gone on the toilet has been for Daddy and not me, so i think the little punk is messing w/ me. lol. but i was so happy he finally went. Just so scared he's gonna start that thing where he holds it and gets major constipated!
So anywho, did my grocery shopping and Mom had offered to help us out buying some school stuff. It kind of took me off guard, and i was pleasantly surprised. she's sent boxes of school stuff to JB's kids, so i think she just wanted to do the same for us. Really meant so much to me. I had gotten the boys' craft books in the mail yesterday so was able to make a list of all the little craft stuff they needed, so got about 1/2 of all that , and then the regular markers, colored pencils, construction paper and all that. Then we let E pick out a pencil case and Lunchbox--just to feel special bc he was starting school. not necessarily bc i'm packing him a lunch every day--and of course he picked "cars" stuff. haa. he wanted the "spy car" pencil case. so funny. It was so fun picking everything out. i always loved getting new school supplies when i was in public school way back, and don't really remember it much when we started homeschooling. So i know Evan had fun w/ it too:) he was so psyched carrying around his lunchbox all thru the store. She got M a pencil case too, so he picked Lightning McQueen--shocker.
After we came home i finally threw the turkey in the oven. crud, just remembered i never called walmart. Somehow made it home w/out my bag of apples. Anywho, after that i hit a wall. Just feeling very exhausted and gloomy. like i just didn't wanna talk anymore. Wondering if i might be prego, but then again been up LATE the past 2 nights, so that might explain it right there. I think Mom could tell bc i told her i was overwhelmed w/ the schooling stuff, like how the heck am i gonna cook, clean, work out , AND do E's school?! i do not want my house to look like a constant disaster!! and, i already dread doing school w/ him somedays bc i just want a break. But, i know w/ all the cute school stuff and once i get into it, it will be fine. i'm just bumming today so prob'ly shouldn't let my mind go there, w/ looking too far into things and freaking myself out. Mom also left me a check to order his Bible curriculum, bible activity book and memory cards, so that was really cool. I know they don't have alot of $$ so it just meant that much more. things sure have been tight around here. and w/ R doing 3 ppl's jobs, he's been more stressed too, so i am thankful. i need to sit down and write her a nice thank you card for sure.
well, better go check my receipt. Thanksgiving Dinner tonight:P
