So, today was a really good day. Woke up early before the kids woke up. well, by about 1 minute with Evan but still. Had a great day in school, followed by a fun story time at the library. One of the other ladies that works at the library did the storytime today and she was just great. Had more of a booming voice and really got into the stories, even laughed at herself. the kids were transfixed. Even the wild boy was reserved and spellbound by her. The theme today was "dogs" so afterwards the kids did a color/cut/glue paperbag puppy craft. Evan was the fastest colorer there and used every color in the crayon box:) I bribed M to color every other piece; pretty funny:) he scribbles but he scribbles in the lines. I'll take what I can get! Then after, checked out the lil bookstore in the front of the library. Never seen a bookstore in a library before. They have all sorts of books, the most being $2 for a hardback, but they had plenty of Grisham, Mary Higgins Clark and Cornwell books for 50 cents and a buck---HARDbacks! they also had vhs tapes 3 for a buck, so the kids immediately spotted 2 Thomas vid's, and I snagged Fievel goes West for them too---a classic. So they were so stoked about that. Picked JB up a book for Christmas. Not sure if he's read it, but I know he loves the movie. Figured a buck was worth the gamble. So hard to buy him a book he hasn't already read. Or read 2 times. :)

| I rarely like a pic of myself, but I actually liked this one |
Came home and ate outside with the boys. The weather was so awesome today. They had a short attn span out there bc all they could think about was the new videos they got from the library, so I humored them and let them watch 2 in a row:) Then had to literally drag Miles to nap...he decided he didn't have any legs to stand on, so had to beat some bootie, and then he finally got the drift. I can't remember the last time I've had to spank them, so for that, I'm thankful. He fell asleep pretty fast and I put E on Starfall.com while I did my 5 miles on the tready. Just put on my "chill music" playlist and tried to enjoy the run w/out looking at the time too much. It was the best I've ever felt at a longer distance on there. Legs felt pretty good, as did the lungs. Been noticing my feet are feeling bruised on the outsides of my feet, so really thinking I'll buy the shoes sometime in the next couple weeks. Need to get some cash flow again. Hard after going outta town and spending so much money there. But I need them.
I FB'd Tristan yesterday about babysitting tonight so R and I could go see "Courageous" in Ocala. She got here around 6 and we left. We didn't have much time so we went to Moe's and got some awesome burritos. I was stoked to discover they had cilantro, so tried that out!! SOO good! The movie was really good and darnit if I didn't cry buckets. No one told me it was a tear jerker. Really made me think about alot and so grateful for Randall and the amazing Dad that he is to our boys. I couldn't ask for more. I think I got more out of the movie for myself, even though the movie is geared towards Dads. I struggle w/ being in the moment and soaking up every moment with my boys. My brain is continually going in diff directions and i lose sight of what really matters alot. Been doing a little better with being present, mainly since I started homeschooling, but it is still a struggle.
Must run for now, but just wanted to jot about my day. So thankful. Mom is coming tomorrow and we're taking the boys to the Pickin' Patch to ride on some hay rack rides, pick some pumpkins and jump on the hay bales. Nothing sounds better:)

This is from yesterday, but just a typical, crazy day with my boys.
Laying on my bed being silly after I took the sheets off to wash them:) |

Their faces here just crack me up. Evan is so funny with all his
wild expressions. |
 |
| They are so cute together. Always cracking each other up so hard. |
 |
| Undie boys. This is M's new pose. The spread-eagle pose. Nice. His sweet lil face is just priceless here to me! |
 |
| Miles, my silly head. He is always doing something so off-the-wall! |
G'night
