Well today is Sunday. Just got back from church and lunch @ Taco Smell. Our ritual every Sunday. We tried to do Mickey D's (i wanted their southwest salad) but alas, it was still b'fast time there and we wanted lunch. It's so nice out today, getting hotter now, but woke up to a crisp morning w/ a light breeze. Can't wait to do my 7 miles in this later tonight when hopefully it feels like it did this morning. This is my favorite time of year!! Love me some Fall. Got my pumpkin spice scented tart thingy going and smells like I just baked!:) de-lish!
Work was good yesterday. Made some serious cash flow w/ the tips-- (50$ from 2 ppl and one still left to pay!), and then headed over to Kristy's house for Annette's baby shower. She has a 3rd grade son and now is due in 2 weeks or so w/ her 2nd little boy:) She got so many cute things and some new techy stuff that I had never seen or heard of. A baby monitor w/ a pad thingy that goes under the sheets and sets off an alarm if the kid stops breathing?! who'd a thunk? Amazing how in 3-5 short years, everything is so different and modern. If I have another kid, it totally has to be a girl so I can have a whopper of a shower again. If it's a boy, I know I can't fool ppl into coming over and showering me with gifts. hhaa. kidding. But it was so fun and so great to see them and enjoy all the cute clothes!! and cupcakes! yumm.
Well, off to clean. Debbie is coming in later today and I hafta get her room all ready and her presents too:)) It was her b'day on Friday so we're making this a fun B'day weekend:)!!! We'll be leaving for Epcot in the morning for 2 days of the Int'l food and wine fest there , and the Eat to the Beat concert series, featuring non other than Sugar Ray, Debb's fave band. They put on such a fun concert last year so we will be rocking out w/ that a few times I'm sure in the FRONT ROW! They all know Debbie, so it's really fun:) Can't wait to go and relax, eat some pastries in France and gaze at the 20 something retail workers in Sweden. hhaa. kidding. Hoping the tready at the hotel is sufficient so i can do 5 miles while I'm there (ugh). Not looking forward to that , but really wanna stay on my schedule!
