Memorial Weekend Happenings

Our weekend started off a little like this: (well, I should say, Sunday....Saturday I had to work til 3, so we lazed around all day when I got home and went to El Ranchito for dinner:)

Sandy Hook, or as I refer to it: Redneck Yaucht Club...Lots of boats out for the holiday. It's very shallow here w/ sandy bottom, so the kids love to swim here.

Headed out on the water after church. I had to work in E's class and there were 25 kids!!! The rain was s'posed to hit at around 1pm, but held off til  almost 4. We totally got caught in the rain, and didn't have towels, so the kids rode home naked in their carseats:)) More of R's fly-by-night planning gone awry. ha

Monday, Memorial Day, we got up, speed cleaned the house together (all helped!), and then left for Orlando around noon. My uncle and his friend were in town and were flying out that evening, so we met up at Bass Pro to see them and my folks,  shop and eat dinner together:) After they all left, we jetted over to the extremely packed Outlets and snagged some great deals on clothes for the boys.

Bass Pro was attached to Ron Jon's surf shop, so I got myself
a new pair of flippy floppies:)

Shark eating your head hat. Always a classic. Notice the straw in his mouth/armpit area....yes, I taught my kids
to make awesome fart noises by doing this. Papa thought it was hilarious!
