| Snagged this at Dollar General the other day! I'd just asked my friends about gardening and they'd mentioned this method! It is SOO cool! Maybe one year I'll actually have a real garden!! |

| Bought this for myself at Barnes and Noble. I have their other "light" slow cooker cookbook and it's one of my faves. Can't wait to check this out. |
Well, wanted to post a quick one before running out the door. Have a few things to grab at the Dollar General (really, this time I swear...), and then thought I'd take the kids to the red, white, and blue playground to play for a bit. I have on my workout clothes, but after being up til 2 am watching "I Survived"~disturbing show~bc R gave me sweet tea at 10 pm bc he quote "feels like staying up bc I don't wanna go to work tomorrow"and then proceeded to pass out on the couch?!?!!, I was wide awake til 2, when I forced myself to go to bed. Now that I don't drink caffeine hardly ever, it affects me even worse, I swear.....All that to say, the gym is not happening today. I feel in a fog and my stomach feels "off".
I worked Saturday and then that evening we decided to head up to Ocala to get my Mom her Mother's Day gifts and get a coupla b'day gifts too...so we headed up and ate at Chick fil A. I went by myself after eating, and let R and the kids stay at the playland in there. Went to Kohl's and Sports Authority and got Mom her earrings and visor she wanted. Went back n picked up the fam, and headed to B & N to pick up the b'day gifts. Also had some tip $ burning a hole in my pocket so bought a new cookbook. I was looking for the new Tosca Reno eat clean vegetarian one, but they didn't have it....hhhhh.
Got up and went to church on Sunday. Came home and chilled for awhile and then cleaned the house before the parentals came over for the afternoon/evening w/ us. I was so tired, so spent most the day staring off into space. lol. I needed a siesta. The 5 min I got werent' quite enough. That afternoon we headed to the almost closed-down mall in Crystal River. It's really sad in there w/ like 40% of the stores now closed. So weird. Then we headed over to Crackers to eat dinner. We sat at a big picnic table w/ an umbrella, right on the water, looking out at Pete's Pier and all the boats. The food was so good, and they'd set up a corn hole game in the little grassy area out by the water, so the kids and us had a blast playing that.
Came home and chilled s'more, then I got a wild hair to make my sweet tater burritos so I'd have them for my lunches this week, so Mom helped me do some chopping and I whipped them out pretty quick. Made 11 this time!!! And then we watched the finale of Survivor, where again, I was sorely disappointed. Not sure why I torture myself watching "reality" shows anymore. They are all lame.hhhaa.
Overall, I had a great day, and it was nice to just chill and be w/ family. My boys were so excited to give me my presents and wrote me some nice cards and colored them for me:) R and the boys got me: a new handheld mixer (mine only had 1 beater and was 8 yrs old), a new squirrel proof bird feeder w/ feed!!, another pantry door shelving thingy to hold more stuff! (small pantry!), a beautiful turquoise colored Columbia L/S fishing shirt and white visor to wear out on the boat!! He told me he writes things down as I mention them. I was really shocked by the mixer! I gripe about that thing ALL the time! hhaa. I love gifts like that. Stuff that will affect my life every day. I like the other stuff too, but this year was more in the mood for practical stuff!
Best get crackin'. I'm soooo tired. Whew. Caffeine is evil.
