Back to reality

I'm sitting here listening to the boys play "Bright Lites" aka lite bright, together, sipping on some fresh juice. Tastes good today. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've had any. I'm trying to get the house all organized and ready for school to begin. We will hopefully be starting back on Monday the 13th, if all goes as planned. I've picked up a lot of supplies, some little workbooks for Miles and then yesterday another cube shelf for the dining room to replace the tiny bookshelf we used last year. The only thing remaining is to sit down and lesson plan and put some stuff together for Miles. I've decided to do my own thing w/ him, similar to what I did w/ Evan the summer before he started kindergarten. I think as long as we work on some writing and letters/numbers, he should be golden by kinder next year. Thurs the 16th is also the HS group meeting. I'll more than likely be helping out in the preschool class w/ M this time. I'm hoping they have some really fun classes for Evan to take. I think the boys will love it! I'm hoping we can connect w/ some cool new peeps and maybe make a new friend or two. Goodness knows I need that. Also hafta order the boys' Bible curriculum...I am going w/ a diff kind this year. Forget the name but it is really cute and has a teacher manual and a music CD to go w/ it. I'm hoping it's better than our made up stuff we did last year which got kinda boring.

It's been hard to get back to reality. I'll hafta blog about the entire cruise later. So many fun pics and stories to tell there. 5 days was the perfect amt of time to really get in the relaxation mode and forget what day of the week it was. Any more and I'd have been really homesick. As it was, about Thurs I was really missing the boys, but it wasn't bad. It was nice to have our room cleaned twice a day and be able to eat, leave my dishes on the table and walk away...and did I mention, have my choice of at least 2 vegetarian meals each night?! The food was SO flipping good! I did have lobster too, and wow....it was off the chain. I think my fave thing though, was the stuffed mushrooms. They were little pieces of heaven on a plate.

It's been nice to be home though. I am such a homebody. We finally got M's big boy bed put together. It was a job as the bedframe was a queen and R had to make it into a full, and none of the screws matched up w/ the headboard, so more drilling there too. We covered both box spring and mattress w/ plastic covers and you can't smell the mustiness at all;) Thank Goodness! Now I just hafta get painting and gluing to make all the finishing touches. Made me sad to take the last baby crib in the house apart:(( We still can't decide on another baby.....after I got home, of course I wanted another kid. hhaa. Seems like such a huge decision either way.

Well, need to get ready for the gym. Made it to body pump last night and got there 1/2 hr late bc I got the time mixed up. I wanted to cry. But it was still an amazing workout and am SORE today. Amazing how sore i get after only a week off. We did work out 2x on the ship, but nothing too hardcore.

Well, I'm rambling. More later...
