Back to School Pics

Well, we started school, as planned, on Monday!! Yayyy! We haven't been getting as early a start as I want, but I'm slowly getting there....HA! I'm so not a morning person, so Monday-Wed we started around 10 and the last couple days around 9:30. I'm hoping to get it back to at least 9, but my original goal was 8:30. I always have great expectations for myself;) lol.

Well, here's a few cute pics of the boys. Amazes me how BIG they look this year, compared to last. Here you go:

This is pretty typical of how silly they are 24/7...been "fun" getting them to be serious during school, but we're getting there:)

Evan, hard at work, doing his "All about me" poster Mom gave him. She has all her 1st graders do this too. He loved telling all about himself and is still working on getting it all colored.

Miles working on his color sticker book. I decided to do my own thing w/ him this year, so we are starting w/ colors for the 1st couple weeks, along w/ crafts, story time, sorting, puzzles, and some counting thrown in. His attention span is awesome...I've been pleasantly surprised!

Some of the stuff he wrote had me rolling...but the one thing that blew me away was his answer to "write 3 super-cool facts about yourself"~He said, "I love people"...brought tears to my eyes. He sure does...

I might hafta get a poster frame for this because I love it so much:)
