Like Butter...

I'm like butter, bc I'm on a ROLL! I've been organizing like a madwoman lately. I don't know if it's bc I'm just tired of things looking like smack, I peruse Pinterest too much looking at organizing pics, or bc I feel so much better from eating better and working out?? No idea, but I'll take it.

In the last week I've:
~weeded thru all M's old clothes; put some in bins to save (labled those) and bagged the rest up for resale
~weeded thru M's old shoes/socks
~cleaned/organized under boys' bathroom cabinets
~cleaned under R's bathroom cabinet
~organized under my bathroom cabinet
~reorganized the pantry w/ 2 new bins for fruit/veggies (labled 4 bins in there)
~cleaned out vitamin and medicine baskets in the kitchen

That's all that comes to mind really, but it's made a world of difference. I've noticed since I cleaned up the kitchen and all the mayhem last night, I've felt SO much more relaxed today, and the kids have not been bouncing off the walls. Well, I also gave them no sugar cereal today w/ a banana on top, so maybe that helped too. It's just been a nice feeling today. School went better, we were laughing more, hardly any screaming or fighting....

I still have a LONG way to go on the house but I'm trying to start now and not save it and let things pile up til right before school. I feel if I can get rid of 1/2 this STUFF in this house that our lives will be simpler and less cluttered and weighed down. I'm sort of a hoarder...have way too much stuff for someone my age.

Well, must shower and head to the library. Body Pump class tonight hopefully and then me and Tracy and possibly Cheryl, the teacher, are hitting up a movie. T's hubby works outta town, and she's on vacation this week, so thought that would be fun. I've not been to the movies w/ anyone in a while.

Well, kids are sounding wild. Typical. It's raining today, but am hoping the weather is true to the reports tomorrow bc R is renting a pontoon boat in Homosassa and we're all going out fishing. Me, him, and some guys from work. Should be fun. The kids are staying home w/ the sitter tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to a break. It's been a LONG week w/ this rain and the kids being so rambunctious.
