Got back from my weekend trip last night close to 9. I'll write more later, but we had a really good time. It was so great to get away and just relax. Nothing like getting away for a few days to make me realize how much I LOVE my kids and man....<3!!! They missed me so much and were almost ecstatic when I got home. They loved all their little presents I brought them--too fun.


Evan's coughing up a lung in his bedroom right now. Had to run in there thinking he was gonna throw up, but he hasn't yet. R is in there sleeping w/ him now. So tired of the boys getting this wicked wet cough and snot every other week...think the allergies are killin' 'em this year. We've been doing kiwi and local honey like mad, but doesn't seem to be doing much. Last time they were like this for a couple weeks is when E got the ear infection...just makes me leary.

Just rewound the news. Seems KS and MO are under tornado warnings, and heading straight to Joplin. Makes me feel sick. Sending up some prayers now.

Well, need to get to bed. Was up too late on the trip, last night and still awake now. I really want to try to get to the gym after school tomorrow, but not sure w/ E being sick. He didn't barely cough today, so I'll see how it plays out. It's been a month now since I've been, and I don't even feel like myself anymore. My weight has stayed consistent, and feeling thinner than I have in a couple years, so that's been nice. I've been able to eat more normally lately, w/ few problems. Had one rough day in the mtns, but after taking a pain pill, it chilled out. I was really careful up there, and tried to not cheat or overdue it at all. Still managed to gain a lb, but think it was more from being able to eat a smidge more normal than anything else. My energy felt pretty good while I was there too, so I'm eager to see how I feel at the gym. I miss it so much.

Well, I'll go. Feeling a tad low tonight. Seems I always get a bit depressed after such a fun trip, or for that matter leaving the cabin. The house we really wanted to buy was bought and someone was already moved in....I was so bummed. Man, I sound like Debbie Downer tonight;) More fun recap coming soon, w/ pics. Memories to last a lifetime...that's for sure:)
