This is my newly organized "corner" in my kitchen. I took 2/3 of my cookbooks and put them in the underneath drawer
of my washing machine, and only left out the ones I use regularly. Also, put a little mail station there. The 2 drawers in
front of this area are my "junk drawers"--it's actually just 1 big drawer, so I struggle w/ keeping this area manageable .
I think it makes my kitchen look a lot bigger, and doubled my counterspace in this area!!:)

This is Miles at the Manatee Festival playing in the free kid's area. He was all over the place. So much fun. They looked
like dirty trailer park kids when we left:) I can say this, bc I used to live in a trailer!!
So for some reason, my picasa web albums and phone aren't working too well together, so I have only 2 pics of the 6 or so I uploaded..nice.

It's been a good few days here, but still can't seem to "do it all"....Randall insisted I go to bed early and dragged me in there at before 9:30. I watched an episode and a 1/2 of "Hoarders" before I fell asleep w/ all my barrettes still in my hair. Managed to get the pony out, but not the barrettes;) funny. I really needed the sleep, esp after a 3am-er the night before. Boy's 1st night of soccer was last night, and that was hysterical. E seems to have forgotten his skills a bit so just mainly kicked the ball as hard as he could, and made goals in the wrong goal by picking up the ball and throwing it in basketball style. Good Grief!!! I was trying to be lighthearted and not care, but i was like, SERIOUSLY?!?! ha. He gets anxious w/ so many kids running around him I think. Too funny. Tina and Ryan and fam were there too, and it's so great to have such a good friend there to laugh with and make jokes. Ryan and E are a day apart, so are good friends:).

I've been kicking tail on my organizing lately, but still can't manage to keep up w/ the everyday dishes or laundry. R actually talked about getting someone or some svc to do our laundry. My idea was to once again go thru the clothes and get rid of 1/2 of them!!! I think it would help immensely. I was just shocked he said he'd been thinking about it. I think he knows how much it is for me to keep it all going. I continue to rack my brain on better ways to bust it out quickly.

Side note: tried out Chicken Tortilla soup in the crock yesterday and it turned out so great!! I will hafta post the recipe later. I think it could be easily doubled and frozen. Added avacado (1st for that), lime juice and cheese and it was SO good! R was even surprised! Nice to have a new meal to add to the list!

Well, done with school, now snack (i'm starving!!) and run to the gym. I plan on running 3 miles today, so hope my knee cooperates. I need to start getting ready for the colon cancer 5k at the end of March, esp if I wanna PR!!! It's been 2 yrs, so it's TIME!

PEace!
