Too many late nights doing this photo stuff. It's the only time I can have scads of hours on my hands w/ no interruptions. My house is in shambles, but by cracky, I have finally made my 1st ever collage pic calendar, with pics even on ppl's birth dates, anniversaries listed etc. I can't wait to get it. I went w/ a "flower market" design and it's traditional yet modern. Love it. Fried my brain looking through my unorganized "last 12 months" pics...I need to narrow them down and make all seperate albums. For REALS.
Went to a "Body Pump" class last night w/ an aquaintance of mine. I'd never tried it before and boy was I in for a rude awakening. First off, I've not been in a regular weight lifting routine since around August, so I'm already feeling flabby...but 1 full hour of weights on a bar...FAST, SLOWWWW, medium, 9 million squats. Oh.My.GOSH. WOW! Ppl were screaming and dropping the bars throughout. It was really cool. Although I can't say I loved it, because it nearly killed me, I left feeling like I'd kicked some serious butt and left nothing behind...except puddles of sweat. I was angry thoughout....at how weak I was, how I'd let myself gain some weight back, how the skinny Barbie-beautiful instructor was smiling and looking amazing while talking her way through while lifting double what I was....the list goes on:) All kinds were there: young, old, men/women, skinny, fat. It was interesting to say the least. It's amazing how when everyone around you is doing an exercise you will push yourself to the max. I plan to go again, and maybe here and there. At 7 bucks a pop or 60 bucks a month, it's pretty much outta my price range, so we'll see. I'd love to go at least once a week to keep things interesting. I'm SORE today and the legs are steadily getting more sore by the minute!! I have a long way to go.
Well, Ghinzu (sp) knives just came on TV, so time to hit it.
