What's up, Wednesday?!

Had a great little morning today. I got up early...this was easier, as I fell asleep before 10 pm last night watching BL. Right before they kicked off the contestant of course. I'm pretty sure it was Bonnie, which is why I had marvelous dreams:) hhaa. I was so not into her and was tired of them spending so much tv time on her! ugh.
Just some random pics of me and E playing w/ my mac photobooth.
He was in hysterics. So funny!

Always thought E had his Dad's bigger upper lip. And after seeing this,
think I'll go ahead and skip that eyebrow lift:)

I think I look like the cute guy on "Tangled" here! or like one of
those ppl who have insanely big nostrils. Big nostrils have always
intrigued me.

This just makes me think of why I moved away from KS...this is what my
kids would look like if I married my brother. Inbreeding was def an option there,
as there weren't many good guys to choose from. ha

Anywho, got up and actually sat down and planned school for today thru the rest of the week. I'd not done that this week and boy could you tell a difference. Planning ahead lets me see how boring some of his lessons are and how to change them up so it's different all the time. I like the Abeka material for so many reasons, but it can get so stale and boring at times too. SOO repetitive. Just simple things, like instead of him writing on the big chalkboard, got out his write on/wipe off letter book and he wrote in there. It's full of pictures and has the 3 lines and tracing letters too. He really enjoyed that. Also, played a different game today. They are always saying to play the Noah's Ark game, but w/ like 20 games, why are they telling me to play the SAME game each day?! Why I say? So we played the hen/chick game today and I "hid" the little chicks all over the room and every time he got an answer right, he got to go find the lost chick and return it to the mama hen. Really went along w/ the lost sheep parable we read in Bible today:)  I'm so proud of E...he is doing so awesome at telling time after only 2 days practice, and got the concept of C's and K's and the vowels that went w/ them today, right off the bat!! I was thinking it would take him days to learn that, but nope. Even quizzed him after returning from the gym and he nailed it. I think he has a photographic memory sometimes, no kidding. Miles even participated in some flashcards and painting today. I think I will just try to keep pulling him in from time to time each day. He loves to feel a part of the fun. And fun is what I think they need. The more fun I make it, the less E will ask me <ARE WE DONE YET?? ...the most annoying ? in my book.

Right now the boys are watching their Toy Trains dvd they got from the library. They've prob'ly seen it a good 15x by now, no joke. E asks from sunup til sundown, when he can watch it??? I'm so ready for it to go back to the library. It could be worse...it could be Barney:) They just love watching some model trains. Humorous really.

Had a great run at the gym. Legs felt surprisingly good. Can't help but think it was from all the rest I've been getting and taking that xtra day off. I think I'll run my 5 tomorrow and attempt my 10 on Sunday per schedule, since next week is my taper week anywho. I think it'll be good. I'll just hafta watch what I eat on Saturday/Sunday and hopefully can avoid the aftermath I experienced this past Sunday. I do NOT want to relive that again in this lifetime.

Cartoon Courtney! About the only time my teeth look this white!
Peace. Happy Wednesday!
