Christmas is coming!

So got up late again this morning. Not good. Seems when i get up late (8:30ish) that the day just doesn't go as planned. The kids were fairly good this morning and we started school before lunch and finished after. E had a rough moment outside while playing and I had to old-school it on him and bend him over my knee and beat his butt. UGH. He has just really been testing us lately w/ the disrespect and mouth and just being defiant. I then told him that I was putting him on the naughty list for Santa and boy did that get him good. I literally had no more problems w/ him all day, so moved him back to the nice list:) Funny how things like that get to kids. I can hear him in his bed coughing, so i'm praying he doesn't get sick. I forgot to sanitize the boys' hands after leaving Toys R Us on Sunday---yeesh.

Did school today and it went so well. E is just blossoming more and more. Read me most of "Are you my mother" and was amazed at how many words he knew. It still takes him a bit of time to read, esp w/ the harder words in that book, so when he started to wear down, I read the rest of the book to him:)) I was wanting to do school til Wed/Thurs this week, but am gonna take BOTH BOYS to Mom's house for Wed/Thurs and they're gonna stay w/ her overnight. They've never done this, and R and I are soooo psyched. We might go somewhere or not? not sure yet. But I am imagining sleeping in and wrapping gifts, getting lunch and going to a movie. Sounds so relaxing. Mom's on break from school and offered and we are so happy:))))!

R told me to go see a movie tonight so went out by my lonesome since Katy couldn't go, and watched New Years again:) Cute movie!!! and some nice eye candy thru=out:) hhaa. Really a clean movie, other than like 3 swear words. not shabby for movies these days. After that went into Kmart and knocked a few more Christmas gifts out. Ended up getting R and Dad each an air rifle w/ scope. I thought they'd have a blast shooting together. R's came w/ bb's and pellets, targets and protective eyeglasses:)) sooo cool! I know they'll be surprised. Dad doesn't need that at all, but i just wanted to get them something fun. Shopping for R is like shopping for an older son....RC helicopters, nerf guns and bb guns:) oh yeah. I love it:) This is the year we bought ourselves a Wii too, so I can't wait for more FUN this year as a fam:)!!! Got myself Just Dance 2 and 3 other games for R and the boys at Game stop. Love some cheap used games!!

I can't wait for Christmas. Just so relaxed this year and love giving gifts to ppl. No idea what I'm getting at all and don't really care. I'd be stoked to just get a daily Bible and a buttload of books to read, and, my Garmin watch. I really do want that. One that has pace/distance. That's all i care about. I need to get my Mom some kitchen towels. I feel sorta bad bc i just got her a bunch of little things and not much from her list of things she needed. Just buying sheets for someone is so boring to me. i hope she's not disappointed. Got the boys' gifts knocked out at Toys R Us....it is STILL the year for trains, even after 2 full  yrs of trains. God bless them, but they just LOVE trains. So got them some more tracks for various sizes of Thomas, and Mom got them another size. The more trains/tracks the better. They love to build them all over the house and they still play w/ their train table too. It's really all they play w/ other than blocks. They crack me up w/ their absolute love of trains. never thought the fascination would last this long!

Well, up too late again. I suck at getting to bed early, esp when there's something exciting coming up...like CHRISTMAS!! woot!

nighto!!
