yet another post

   Just got done planning 3 days of school for E...man alive, it's getting to be more and more by the day. My little boxes in my planner are full to the brim. We did school today, which was a little rough. Seems everytime we miss school for a few days in a row, he's just outta sync. He did learn 2 new Awana verses though, and even tonight, he quoted them word-for-word for me. Really makes my heart happy knowing that he enjoys memorization!

Anywho, gonna really make an effort to be more on the ball this coming year as far as school planning and meal planning, down to what's for lunch and dinner. Thinking I'll even start making meal plans out, along w/ the schooling, so I don't hafta THINK about it so much last minute, and then resort to calling R and having him fetch pizza for dinner. There's SO many recipes I wanna try, it's crazy. My top ones: Salmon patties, muffin tin egg fritatas (? think that's the name), homemade granola, Hummus, etc etc. I can't wait to find some great recipes and try some stuff out. Pinned a bunch more "good eats" on Pinterest.com today, so that should help a lot. So nice having everything in ONE spot!

Well, best go. Went to find one thing for a recipe, which i swore I had...which led to a complete overhaul of my kitchen pantry. It was a nightmare, and long overdue. Found so much stuff I didn't know I had, and things I desperately needed to replenish. Found a bunch of pkgs of nuts that were opened and then gone bad. What a major $ waste!! I always put my nuts in the freezer, so not even sure how that happened. UGH! I've been slacking so much this past year with organizing. Ever since starting school, then the race, then the holidays. Now that I'm more used to my new work load, I need to get back on the ball. I'm planning on having a good yard sale here soon and clearing out the STUFF. we have TOO much and it's driving me insane. I think I need to start watching Hoarders again, bc boy did that make me purge!

Side note: my nephew Ty (JB's son) had a freak accident where he fell out of a tree and over a 12 foot  embankment and broke his left arm. He barely missed hitting his head on a rock, so GOD is good. Gave us all a scare. He's going in to an pediatric Ortho surgeon tomorrow, so hoping it's not too bad. They splinted it really good at the ER. He had everything checked out, including his hip, which was killing him, to make sure there were no breaks and all checked out fine. I guess the 1st thing he said when they got out to him, was that he was glad it was him that got hurt and not his younger brother or young cousins that were with him. He has the sweetest heart. I just love Ty. So, just thinking of him. Need to send him a little get-well care pkg this week.
