So, not much is up. Just another normal day I guess. R left last night for the cabin with Justin and Robert for 4 days. So I'm buckling down to be Mom/Dad for a few days. It's been fine so far. We got our Christmas tree after Awana on Wed night, and Robert put the lights on for me last night. He didn't even need a ladder:). Must be nice to be taller than a midget! Still haven't decorated it yet, so am planning to do that tonight. I really need to go to Walmart to get a few things, but trying to figure out when, since I'll have both kids with. Might wanna do it tonight since tomorrow will more than likely be a madhouse, as will every other Saturday before Christmas.

Yesterday Mother's Touch started back:) I'd been missing my Mom's group so much since it ended over the summer. It was nice to see everyone and just chill and eat some good food. We had a good turnout...I'd say almost 50 ppl. Did the teacup/mug exchange and I actually got a cool one this year=a mug w/ peppermint hot cocoa and a bunch of peppermint candies:) No one was too crazy. I think most the crazy moms have moved away.

Most my Christmas shopping is done. Randall and I split up and hit black friday at diff times and knocked it mostly all out. I still have undies/socks for all 3 boys to buy, and maybe some geo trax trains for the boys. We're really not doing much this year at all. It's actually been nice:)) I do need to get on it for my Christmas card though...really slacking this year. We finally got a camera (blk friday cheapy!) so hopefully we can take our pic soon for our card. Not sure if I wanna do a letter this year. Most everyone on my card list is on my FB so they pretty much know must stuff anywho. I do like to do my letter though...I've only skipped it once in 8 yrs. So, we'll see.

We skipped school yesterday, not purposely, but time got away from us. Between MT from 10-12, and then me cleaning this insane house (it truly was over the top bad), to R coming home early to pack for his trip, and eating dinner out, we just didn't get it done. I had plans to either do school tomorrow or Sunday, but ended up scanning it today and noticing that today didn't have many papers for him, so we doubled up today. I could tell he was getting tired, but we managed. I've been so unorganized this week, as the race pretty much wasted me til Wed, so will get back on the wagon and be planned and ready for next week and hopefully the week after. Gotta get my Dec file out and copy some crafts so we can do those each day too. Found some really cute crafts and Christmas recipes on pinterest.com, so will incorporate some of those too. Thinking so far of doing some wrapping paper garland chains, homemade cinnamon ornaments, and modeling clay ornaments, and maybe some painted glass tealight holders. Thinking of gifts/ornaments to make for the g'ma's, which we try to do yearly. I can tell such a big difference when i sit down and have my school all planned out and in folders and when I don't. I feel stressed, it's more messy and takes longer bc I'm running around grabbing papers/ word blend charts, toys etc for counting/adding. Sidenote: E is reading better and better. I rented several books at the library last time that were easy for him to read, and he did so good. He gets tired and sighs a lot, but I think he's getting it that he can actually read himself a book. It has to be easy though or he says he can't. But he's learned so many more sight words just by renting and reading those books! I'm so proud of him! And, he said 4 verses (3 new/1 review) at Awana on Wed to earn his 1st patch!!! He is so proud that he's  gonna be getting an award!!

well, I should go make my menu or do dishes or something. It's so much more boring w/ Randall not here:( But I do get more done:)
