Favorites Friday

Just a few quick things that are my favorites this Friday!!

1) Sending (and receiving) surprise letters, cards, or pkg's in the mail!!!
Recent pkg I sent to a friend. She sent me a pic after she received it:)! I love
to collect things from here and there and just send a big box of crazy things.
This had: burprags and bibs, Scentsy stuffed animal w/ lavendar smelly thing,
plaster handprint baby ornament kit, "Total pillow", summery sun hat, and
packets of barrets from a wig store:)! Totally random:)

2) When my son tells me outta the blue he's gonna take a nap. (my elder son that is).

How we found Evan one night in his bed:) with his Santa hat on. Cracked me up so hard.

3) "Puppy Chow" or "Reindeer Poop"!
Put "Puppy Chow" in the little plastic bucket, then surrounded w/
Reese PB cup cookies, kisses and snickers. Yumm! Took these to my
neighbors this year.
I only make this during Christmas and usually put in little tins with bows on the tops for my neighbors or friends. Been making this for years.
Recipe:   *6 cups Krispix cereal
                *6 oz (1 cup) semi sweet choc chips
                *1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
                 * gallon baggy
                * 1 cup powdered sugar
Heat choc chips in large mixing bowl (i use glass) for 1 min. in micro. Stir. Continue micro-ing for 30 sec at a time, stirring after each, til melted. Take out and immediately stir in peanut butter. Add Krispix 3 cups at a time and mix gently til fully coated with choc. Put powdered sugar in gallon baggy. Add all the cereal and shake to coat well. Can put in tins or store in fridge. 1 box of krispix makes about 2 batches:) DE-LISH!

4) When one of my books comes in at the library. I reserve books online and wait for the call! I never know what the book will be til I get to the library bc they don't leave that on the message. Today I just picked this up:
This book looks intense!

5) Chuck Norris quotes. The ridiculous ones. They just make me laugh. My bro sent me a CN calendar one year and R just bought me one of his quote books. The book's a little over the top, but a few had me crying with laughter:)
#'s 5 and 6 are classic! haa.
